Another Shameful ATF Overstep: Pistol Braces

The Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agency is taking yet another step toward taking the 2nd Amendment and our rifles away from us. So yay for tyranny. Here's how we're responding.
The pistol brace I recently added to my wife's AR-15 is now being ruled a felony with a penalty of 10 years in prison. The ATF, of course, didn't go through the proper process to take this tyrannical step, and thankfully some of our favorite gun lobby organizations are challenging this with lawsuits.
Here's what's funny. My wife's AR-15 is suddenly illegal with a pistol brace because of this: her barrel is 12.5 inches. So her rifle is more concealable I guess?
The death of freedom is so annoying. Here’s how we’re responding.
Step One: Support Pro-2nd Amendment Organizations
For years we've been supporting the Second Amendment Foundation, USCCA and the Firearms Policy Coalition. I encourage you to support these organizations as well so they can continue to challenge attacks on our freedom.
Afterall that's what this is. Actions like these against pistol braces are just ways of inching closer to eventually taking away our guns all together.
So please support organizations that allow us to stand up to tyrannical trends toward taking away our most basic rights.
Step Two: Temporary Compliance
Until this thing gets worked out, there are a few steps you can take. For now, I'm taking the pistol brace off of my wife's white and stylish AR-15. We could obviously swap out her shorter barrel for a longer one and make it suddenly safer for society, but for now we're just removing the pistol brace.
We could also register our guns. No thanks.
We could give up our guns and allow the government to destroy them like they've done in other countries. Never.
Step Three: Never Give Up Your Guns. Ever.
The 2nd Amendment to the Constitution was clearly articulated and set in place in the Bill of Rights in order to protect the 1st Amendment. It reads like this:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
With every little annoying step taken by our federal overlords toward limitations, not only are they forsaking their oath but they're paving the way toward tyranny. And this is part of the human condition–a government in possession of some power must be in want of all the power forever. And this is why we can't just willingly give up our freedom to a government trying to "make us safe." I can assure you that safety is not what they're really after.
