Raven Portable Steel Target Shooting Stand

Introducing the RAVEN Stand TM, designed by Warrior Poet Society and engineered with versatility in mind. This fast stand was designed for portability and speed of set up and tear down. Get on the range faster. Change your scenarios and placements with ease. Keep fatigue for training, not the setup of your targets. The Raven Stand transports easily to and from the range using integrated carrying handles. Assembly takes seconds, and can be used with a paper target adapter (sold separately). The silhouette is made of AR550 steel.

• Rated for pistols at 10 yards (9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, 10mm)
• Rated for light carbines at 50 yards (.223/5.56, 300 BLK, 7.62x39, etc.)
• Rated for other rifles and even magnum calibers at 100 yards and further
• Shotguns: birdshot at 10 yards (lead only), buckshot at 10 yards (lead only), slugs at 50 yards MINIMUM. Never shoot slugs at closer distances.
• Rifle distances determined with ammunition that is a muzzle velocity of 3,000 FPS or less. Faster ammo may require further distances to avoid higher levels of wear and tear.

The Raven AR550 Steel Target System by Warrior Poet Society was engineered around the modern shooter. One of the foremost considerations during the design process was to afford you more time shooting and less time prepping. With durable 3-piece construction and an overall weight of just 48 pounds, you can have the Raven set up to shoot in seconds.

Sure it’s fast – and it’s also strong. We made sure not to sacrifice strength for speed. The AR550 steel will handle your pistol and rifle rounds with ease. It can also handle .30 cal rounds without issue, so you’re free and clear to pull out the AR-47 or hunting rifle. Solid steel construction means no hinges, pins, or wooden parts to deteriorate over time. This is a target system that goes the distance.

With built-in carry handles and an optional paper target adaptor, portability and versatility are guaranteed. The Raven also has a fixed 20° silhouette angle which strategically reflects spall downwards. Couple this with a wide, low stance and feet that dig into the ground and you have one of the safest target systems on the market.

Fast Stand Technology

I like shooting, but, oh…how I despise setting up the range. It is regrettably true that I have opted to NOT GO TRAIN simply because I didn’t want the hassle of readying the shooting range (I know that’s super lame of me). The Raven Target System was created to help solve this problem by offering a target system that is portable, more durable, and more versatile than any other target system in existence.

• PORTABLE – The Raven target system has built-in carry handles which allow you to carry the system (or multiple) out to the firing line in one single trip. The AR550 Raven steel target was also designed shorter to eliminate extra bulk and weight. The entire system weighs in at around 48 pounds. Setup and tear down of the target only takes a few seconds.
• DURABLE – The AR550 steel will easily handle your pistol and rifle rounds. Check out the video below where we are hammering the target at close range with an AR-15. If you want to shoot your hunting rifle or AR-47 at the system, no problem, it is rated for .30 cal as well. The Raven steel target system is MORE DURABLE than other systems because it does not have any pins, hinges, or wooden parts that can break and wear out over time. Expect the investment you make in this technology to keep you happy for a long time.
• VERSATILE – The Raven target system comes with an AR550 steel plate, but will also work with the 3D rummer dummy target (a personal favorite of mine), or a paper target stand. If you are thinking, ‘wow, they really thought this through’, you are right.
