Home Security. Done Right.
I bought the SimpliSafe Home Security System on a whim because some folks I respect spoke highly of it. I don’t think I really believed the SimpliSafe system would become my permanent home security system, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised since I began using it almost 2 years ago. In my mind… a proper home security system needed to be a big ordeal and hassle to install, with professional technicians, appointments, drilling and hiding wires, etc.
The SimpliSafe home security system though is a do-it-yourself wireless system that a moderately-trained monkey could set up. It has the standard window and door sensors, keypad, panic buttons, glass-break detectors, and motion alarms, as well as some other things I wasn’t expecting such as key fobs (a huge convenience), carbon monoxide detectors, smoke alarms, video cameras, phone app integration, home security signs, and more.
The SimpliSafe Security System is inexpensive compared to the majority of systems out there and it can be bought in different configurations so you can add features easily based on your wants/needs.
