Pistol Concealed Carry Training Courses
PISTOL 1
This 1 day course lays the foundation for all future pistol training. Safety, range etiquette, clearing, loading, equipment, fundamentals of fire, drawstroke, clearing stoppages, common mistakes, and warrior mindset are the main subjects tackled in this essential course. Though this training is designed for beginners, the subject matter and technique allows students to build realistic skills that can survive the test of stress and small time constraints.
PISTOL 2
This 1 day course begins with a review of safety protocols and an audit of each individual’s shooting fundamentals and basic skill sets (draw stroke, reloads, etc). During this course, students will learn use of cover/concealment, concealed carry considerations, fighter mindset, and movement. Prior training is required to be eligible to attend this course.
PISTOL 3
This 1 day course is all about moving, shooting, and thinking under stress. Students are expected to have previously gained unconscious competency in their fundamentals of fire and basic skill sets. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: fighting from concealment, one-handed operation, movement, use of cover, integrating hand-to-hand combat, and integrating tactics in order to ‘fight smarter.’
Rifle Training Courses
RIFLE 1
This 1 day course lays the foundation for all future rifle training. Safety, range etiquette, weapon operation, accessories, fundamentals of fire, shooting/ready positions, rapid target acquisition, target transitions, clearing of stoppages, rapid fire, and warrior mindset are the main subjects tackled in this essential course. Though this training is designed for beginners, the subject matter and technique allows students to build realistic skills that can survive the test of stress and small time constraints.
RIFLE 2
This 1 day course begins with a review of safety protocols and an audit of each individual’s shooting fundamentals. During this course, students will be introduced to movement, use of cover and/or concealment, alternate body positions, scenario based stress fires, fighter mindset, and more. This course requires prior training equivalent to Rifle 1.
RIFLE 3
This 1 day course combines prior skills taught in Rifle 1 and Rifle 2 courses with active problem solving. Students will be challenged in multiple range evolutions both individually and in groups. Rifle 3 brings the gun and the fun together in one place. Expect more movement and positional changes, but this doesn't mean you need to be a Crossfit enthusiast - this class is for anybody who meets the pre-reqs and can be completed at the individual's own pace. Come with an open mind and full mags, because it's action-packed and a real blast.
VIP RIFLE TRAINING EXPERIENCE
If you were asked to build your dream getaway, what would it entail? Expansive views of nature? Great food? Hanging out with a cool group of people who share your ideals? Luxurious accommodations? Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad to shoot some guns, too. Well, life is short, so let’s make it happen. This will be the ultimate education vacation for a War Poet, and we hope you'll join us in this all-inclusive experience at the Cedar Gate retreat in Kingfisher, Oklahoma.
Specialty Training Courses
MAT TO MUZZLE - DEFENSIVE TACTICS
This two-day Comprehensive Defensive Tactics Training Program covers a wide range of self-defense techniques. Participants will learn effective verbal tactics, de-escalation techniques, appropriate responses to low and high-level threats, and integrating fixed blades and firearms into their defense strategies. Special emphasis is placed on legal, visual, and social considerations of defensive actions. The program is adaptable for various fitness levels and includes practical exercises, simulations, and interactive Q&A sessions to ensure comprehensive skill acquisition and understanding.
INTRO TO LONG RANGE PATROL
This 2 day course teaches what is necessary, both logistically and tactically, to engage in a long range patrol in enemy occupied territory. With the expectation of a small amount of time in the classroom, students should expect to ‘learn by doing’, and come ready to work. Relevant topics of instruction and practical application include, but are not limited to: prepping for a patrol, introduction to land navigation, principles of patrolling, reconnaissance, basic military tactics, etc.
ONE MAN ROOM CLEARING
This is high-stakes chess and the unforgiving game of angles. Here, pistol/rifle skills graduate into something far more important: tactics. This class is a mix between classroom time, drills, force-on-target, and force-on-force exercises. The course will review different types of clearing methods and display the various tactics that make them successful. For single-man clearing outside of an active shooter scenario, we will major on more deliberate clearing methods.
MID-RANGE MARKSMAN
This 2 day course is built around teaching how to exploit the mid-range capabilities (100-600 yards) of the AR platform. Taught by a US Special Forces Sniper Instructor, we are going to take your rifle work to the next level. We will allow you to take the AR platform you have and capitalize on its inherent accuracy with maximum effectiveness. Topics covered will include rifle setup, basic ballistics, positional shooting, and an intro to wind reading. In this course you will become capable of stretching the legs on your AR platform out to 600 yards with reliability and confidence.
Medical Tactical Training Courses
PRACTICAL MEDICAL RESPONSE
If you are the first person on the scene of a medical emergency, would you know what to do? Using a combination of lecture and hands-on practical application, our instructor will give you the knowledge and tools to provide life-saving care when every second counts and first responder assets are still minutes away. This 2-day course is designed to build a practical and foundational first-response skillset before building on top of these base skills with a deeper comprehension of anatomy, physiology, and trauma.

For all training and trips questions check our FAQ’s here.
Ammo: **Due to the current ammo shortage in the US**
For your convenience, we are running our concealed carry classes with less ammunition than usual. We recommend anywhere from 300-500 rounds per class. However you have the option to shoot less of your ammo in class and still learn the course. After any drill has been performed in class you may dry fire or shoot less rounds at the firing line, while still receiving the same level of personal attention and course credit.
You may shoot reloaded ammo (at your own risk) or steel case. You MAY NOT shoot any steel penetrating core, i.e. NATO green tip.
We recommend Fiocchi ammo if you are looking for reliable ammo at good prices.
