DAY 02: ARRIVAL IN GREECE – Arrive in Thessaloniki, where we will be met at the airport for transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight in Thessaloniki.

DAY 03: THESSALONIKI-PHILIPPI-KAVALA – Today we will drive to Philippi, where Paul delivered his first sermon in Europe, planting the seeds of Christianity. We will see the dungeon where Paul was held prisoner and the site where he baptized Lydia, the first Christian woman in Europe “One of those who heard us was Lydia… After she and the people of her house had been baptized” (Act 16:14-15). Then we will continue to the seaside of Kavala- Neapoli where St Paul had docked during his mission. Return to Thessaloniki to explore the ancient city where Paul planted a church “Paul and Silas traveled on through Amphipolis and came to Thessalonika” (Act 17:1) that would later receive two New Testament epistles. View one of the most beautiful basilicas in the city, St. Demetrius. Continue along the waterfront to the massive White Tower and nearby triumphal Arch of Galerius. Dinner and overnight in Thessaloniki.

DAY 04: THESSALONIKI-VERIA-KALAMBAKA – This morning we leave our hotel to continue to Veria, or Berea, where Paul and Silas were sent by friends after being accused of treason in Thessaloniki (Act 17:5-15) and found people who eagerly received his message “examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were true” (Acts 17:11). We make our way to Kalambaka to visit Meteora, a cluster of pillars of rock, and the “Hanging Monasteries” perched on top of rock cliffs dated back to 14th century. There are 24 monasteries here, only 6 of which are inhabited by monks.

DAY 05: KALAMBAKA-THERMOPYLAE-DELPHI – Today we head south to Delphi through the amazing countryside taking in the beauty of Greece. Stop at the mountain pass of Thermopylae, the location where the Greeks victoriously fought for their freedom during the Greco-Persian wars in 480 BC. See the statue of Leonidas, king of the Greek city-state Sparta. Then we continue our drive through the beautiful scenery of Greece on to Delphi for dinner and overnight.

DAY 06: DELPHI-PLATAEA-ATHENS – This morning we visit the Delphi along with the museum with the famous Bronze Charioteer and other items that date back to the time of Paul. We visit the Temple of Apollo where Paul must have spoken to the people about the Living God, continue to the Theater, the Athenian Treasury and the Castalian Spring. Afterwards we will head to Plataea, where the final land battle between Greeks and Persians took place (479 BC) during the second Persian invasion of Greece. Then we make our way to Athens, for dinner and overnight.

DAY 07: ATHENS-LAVRIO-MYKONOS – Begin the day with a drive to the Port of Lavrio and step aboard The Olympia, to start a 4-day Greek Islands cruise. Spend the afternoon exploring the Island of Mykonos, world-renowned for its lovely windmills, small cobblestone streets, and countryside. Return to the ship for dinner and overnight.

DAY 08: KUSADASI (EPHESUS)-PATMOS – Step off the ship at Kusadasi and into nearby Ephesus, Turkey, Asia Minor’s greatest archeological site. This Greek and Roman city has been remarkably preserved. Step along the broad marble where Paul walked. Gaze at the Temple of Artemis (Diana), the Temple of Hadrian, and The Celsus Library. Marvel at the massive theater where Paul was opposed as he spoke boldly about Christ. In the afternoon, enjoy cruising aboard The Olympia to the island of Patmos, built on a mass of volcanic rock. The island marks the site where the apostle John wrote the book of Revelation. Visit the Monastery of St. John and the cave where he was imprisoned. Return to the ship for dinner and overnight

DAY 09: CRETE/SANTORINI – Arrive in Heraklion, Crete, the largest of the Greek Islands and the cradle of the ancient Minoan Civilization. This island is where the apostle Paul spent time as he was being transported to Rome as a prisoner. Visit the remarkable ruins of the Palace of Knossos, said to be the lost city of Atlantis. Board The Olympia for an afternoon cruise to the famous island of Santorini, formed by the half-submerged crescent of a volcanic caldera. Perched atop high cliffs, reach the island's breathtaking views via donkey or cable car (your choice). Dinner and overnight on the ship.

DDAY 10: LAVRIO-NEMEA-SPARTA-CORINTH – Early morning disembark the cruise making a brief stop at the amazing handmade Corinth Canal and continue to Nemea where took place the Battle of Nemea (394 BC), also known in ancient Athens as the Battle of Corinth, a battle in the Corinthian War, between Sparta and the coalition of Argos, Athens, Corinth, and Thebes.
