WPS Concealed Carry Training Courses
Our goal is to create realistic, well thought out, and easy to understand concealed carry training courses. Our Tactics Instructors John Lovell, Paul Perkerson, and Josh Griffiths - alongside Medical Instructor Pat Krentz - strive to help students understand the ‘bigger picture’ so they can identify the current state of their training and where their skill set needs to improve. What sets our instructors apart is their ability to break down complex skills and tactics into basic and simple ‘bites’ that students can readily comprehend and follow.
Classes sell out quickly due to high demand.
New classes are added monthly, so please check back often.

Pistol Concealed Carry Training Courses

PISTOL 1
This 1 day course lays the foundation for all future pistol training. Safety, range etiquette, clearing, loading, equipment, fundamentals of fire, drawstroke, clearing stoppages, common mistakes, and warrior mindset are the main subjects tackled in this essential course. Though this training is designed for beginners, the subject matter and technique allows students to build realistic skills that can survive the test of stress and small time constraints.

PISTOL 2
This 1 day course begins with a review of safety protocols and an audit of each individual’s shooting fundamentals and basic skill sets (draw stroke, reloads, etc). During this course, students will learn use of cover/concealment, concealed carry considerations, fighter mindset, and movement. Prior training is required to be eligible to attend this course.

PISTOL 3
This 1 day course is all about moving, shooting, and thinking under stress. Students are expected to have previously gained unconscious competency in their fundamentals of fire and basic skill sets. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: fighting from concealment, one-handed operation, movement, use of cover, integrating hand-to-hand combat, and integrating tactics in order to ‘fight smarter.’
Rifle Training Courses

RIFLE 1
This 1 day course lays the foundation for all future rifle training. Safety, range etiquette, weapon operation, accessories, fundamentals of fire, shooting/ready positions, rapid target acquisition, target transitions, clearing of stoppages, rapid fire, and warrior mindset are the main subjects tackled in this essential course. Though this training is designed for beginners, the subject matter and technique allows students to build realistic skills that can survive the test of stress and small time constraints.

RIFLE 2
This 1 day course begins with a review of safety protocols and an audit of each individual’s shooting fundamentals. During this course, students will be introduced to movement, use of cover and/or concealment, alternate body positions, scenario based stress fires, fighter mindset, and more. This course requires prior training equivalent to Rifle 1.

RIFLE 3
This 1 day course combines prior skills taught in Rifle 1 and Rifle 2 courses with active problem solving. Students will be challenged in multiple range evolutions both individually and in groups. Rifle 3 brings the gun and the fun together in one place. Expect more movement and positional changes, but this doesn't mean you need to be a Crossfit enthusiast - this class is for anybody who meets the pre-reqs and can be completed at the individual's own pace. Come with an open mind and full mags, because it's action-packed and a real blast.
Specialty Training Courses

INTRO TO LONG RANGE PATROL
This 2 day course teaches what is necessary, both logistically and tactically, to engage in a long range patrol in enemy occupied territory. With the expectation of a small amount of time in the classroom, students should expect to ‘learn by doing’, and come ready to work. Relevant topics of instruction and practical application include, but are not limited to: prepping for a patrol, introduction to land navigation, principles of patrolling, reconnaissance, basic military tactics, etc.

NIGHT FIGHTER
Night Fighter is a 2-day open enrollment class designed for Law Enforcement, law-abiding civilians, and individual military members. It provides instruction to armed professionals who are looking to become more proficient in no-light/low-light operations. This class focuses on increasing the students’ night vision skillsets during real world operations through lecture and range evolutions. Students will participate in a variety of evolutions to include (but not limited to): individual movement, weapons manipulation, use of cover/concealment under NODs and Live Fire drills.

ONE MAN ROOM CLEARING
This is high-stakes chess and the unforgiving game of angles. Here, pistol/rifle skills graduate into something far more important: tactics. This class is a mix between classroom time, drills, force-on-target, and force-on-force exercises. The course will review different types of clearing methods and display the various tactics that make them successful. For single-man clearing outside of an active shooter scenario, we will major on more deliberate clearing methods.

EDC Combatives
This 2 day course introduces the fundamentals of SOCP, as well as techniques from other combat-focused disciplines designed to meet the threats of day to day civilian life. Topics covered will include basic self defense techniques, pistol takeaways, knife takeaways, EDC setups, situational awareness, mindset, and hand to hand combat introduction. While these skills and techniques are employed by Special Forces Operators, they are life-or-death practices that are integral to self defense for any civilian.
Medical Tactical Training Courses

MED 1
If you are the first person on the scene of a medical emergency, would you know what to do? Using a combination of lecture and hands-on practical application, our instructors are going to give you the knowledge and tools to provide life-saving care when every second counts and first responder assets are still minutes away.

MED 2
Building off of the foundation taught in Med 1, Med 2 takes a deeper dive into the "why" behind various life-saving techniques, teaching students how to provide extended care in stressful environments.

Ammo:
**Due to the current ammo shortage in the US***
For your convenience, we are running our concealed carry classes with less ammunition than usual. We recommend anywhere from 300-500 rounds per class. However you have the option to shoot less of your ammo in class and still learn the course. After any drill has been performed in class you may dry fire or shoot less rounds at the firing line, while still receiving the same level of personal attention and course credit.
You may shoot reloaded ammo (at your own risk) or steel case. You MAY NOT shoot any steel penetrating core, i.e. NATO green tip. We recommend Fiocchi ammo if you are looking for reliable ammo at good prices.
