Warrior Poet Society IFAK - Individual Tactical First Aid Kit - Best Battle Belt Mounted Medical Kit
Made in the U.S.A.
The Best Duty Belt IFAK Med Kit That All the Other Med Kits Are Talking About
The WPS Belt Mounted Medical Kit is the most recent product release from John Lovell and Warrior Poet Society Manufacturing. A sleek, innovative design that allows maximum storage with minimal space. Designed and built to do what other IFAKs can't.
John designed this med kit to address a problem that the industry hadn't seemed to answer yet. Most belt-mounted med kits don't have room for trauma shears, and if they do, it tends to add a ridiculous amount of unnecessary bulk.
The WPS IFAK has a designated trauma shears compartment that doubles as a quick deployment pull-tab, giving you instant (and ambidextrous) access to supplies. Just reach down and give the shears a rip, and you're ready to administer life-saving aid.
Velcro retention straps allow you to adjust the kit to accommodate a variety of medical supplies while keeping things snug.
Available with or without medical components.
If you plan on attaching the WPS IFAK to your battle belt, you can do so using Malice Clips - available here.

Review: The Newly-Designed WPS Belt-Mounted Medical Kit
The John Lovell-designed medical kit provides a securely-fixed trauma kit easy to access from the belt-line or elsewhere without impeding movement.
Finding everything you need in the throes of battle is a persistent challenge for operators, especially when the adrenaline is pumping. This is particularly true when it comes to field medicine and trauma care administered in the midst of hostile encounters or other emergencies.
That's why I (John Lovell) have continually refined our approach to quick-response trauma care kits that can fit snugly and discreetly on your belt. The WPS IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit) is our fastest grab-and-go trauma kit to date, carrying what you need and nothing you don't for those heated moments down range.
I even included full-sized trauma scissors as part of the solution. Those historically-obtrusive-though-absolutely-necessary implements have now become the quick-draw mechanism for this system. If you've attended one of our medical training classes or been involved in a tactical medical emergency, you know how critical this component (the quickness and the scissors) can be when caring for an injured friend.
If you don't currently carry trauma supplies as part of your kit, I hope you'll start.
Minimalist, Low Profile Design
The new WPS Belt Mounted Medical Kit is our most recent product release and one I designed in collaboration with the Warrior Poet Society Manufacturing team. A sleek, innovative design that allows maximum storage with minimal space.
We shaped our kit with the dimensions of a chest seal, an innovation that keeps this all-important trauma care component from becoming crushed or otherwise compromised while riding in the kit. All other contents fit flatly against it within a snug quad-fold compartment for secure containment but easy deployment.
Another critical piece, the tourniquet, is positioned atop and outside this package for easy access and to keep it safe from the crunch of moving into and out of position. Yes. This kit allows you to sit comfortably just about anywhere.
The Magic of Trauma Sheers
The WPS IFAK is designed and built to do what other IFAK designs can't. As mentioned before, we designed this med kit to address a problem that the industry hasn't seemed to answer yet.
Lightweight and Adjustable for Comfort and Function
The velcro retention straps on this new design allow you to adjust the kit to accommodate a variety of medical supplies while keeping things snug. And this retention system is constructed of durable, water-resistant, yet lightweight material to keep your ounce count down to a minimum.
As with any piece of gear you add to your kit, your knowledge and skill are an absolutely critical component of any trauma care system. You can check out some of our in-person WPS medical training opportunities.

WPS Belt Mounted IFAK
Phenomenal piece of equipment, I cant recommend it enough fellas. I appreciate all that John & WPS does for the 2A community and I'm proud to support a local Christian business.

Just makes sense.
I added a Combat Gauze and 4inch Israeli bandage to the kit. It's packed full but fits, so it ships. It takes up a decent amount of space on the belt, but not ridiculous. The fabric is high quality and overall design keeps the items secure. If you needed the scissors, you would need to take the entire kit out, but it remains closed, so no spillage. I had to get some malice clips, other wise it was good to go from WPS, I just like the extra medical.

Overall good
The pouch and content is top notch great over all product. My complaint is with the plastic belt loops, they don't hold anytime run, my pouch flies of my belt.

Getting the CAT Turniquet in
I just received my kit and when getting everything packed in I had trouble with getting the CAT Turniquet in like others have stated. I determined if I could pull it through, I could do it. Something like a shoelace or thinner string would do. I ended up using my cross necklace which worked perfectly. I just looped one end through the opening of the CAT, then slide the 2 ends of the necklace though the end of the holder, and gently pulled as I would guide it in. Worked perfectly. The kit itself is well made, looks good, and I like the functionality of it. Nice work John! Stay strong and keep the faith my fellow brothers!

Needs instructions.
Agree with JY, I couldn’t for the life of me get a CAT loaded into the elastic. Gave up and used the CAT Hammock, which is just enough bigger to barely fit. My content load isn’t as symmetrical as shown in the website, but it works. Some dummy instructions would be nice.

Belt IFAK
This piece of kit is well belt and looks awesome too. Really love it, almost. The stretch tourniquet holder is pretty difficult to fill. Are there any suggestions on how to get a CAT into this thing?

WPS Belt IFAK
I recently purchased the WPS belt IFAK and was pleasantly surprised by it's robust construction and low profile. I was able to mount it on my plate carrier with no problem and have found it to be a fantastic addition to my kit. Great job WPS!
