The Venue
The land of The Cedar Gate is a story in itself. Originally tended for crops and cattle, it has been part of the Hill family legacy for generations. It is brimming with memories of family gatherings and Christmas traditions, watered with spilled orange juice and syrup from boys’ camping trips, and seasoned with countless hours of prayer, reflection, and revelation. For many people, The Cedar Gate is a place of refuge and solitude to seek God, find rest, and escape the busyness of life long enough to connect with what matters most.

Rifle 1: This course lays the foundation that all future rifle training will rest on. Safety, range etiquette, weapon operation, accessories, fundamentals of fire, shooting/ready positions, rapid target acquisition, target transitions, clearing of stoppages, rapid fire, and warrior mindset are the main subjects tackled in this essential course. Though this course is built for beginners, the subject matter and technique is designed to allow students to build realistic skills that can survive the test of stress and small time constraints.
Rifle 2: This course begins with a review of safety protocols and an audit of each individual’s shooting fundamentals. During this course, students will be introduced to movement, use of cover and/or concealment, alternate body positions, scenario based stress fires, fighter mindset, and more.
Rifle 3: This 1 day course combines prior skills taught in Rifle 1 and Rifle 2 courses with active problem solving. Students will be challenged in multiple range evolutions both individually and in groups. Rifle 3 brings the gun and the fun together in one place. Expect more movement and positional changes, but this doesn't mean you need to be a Crossfit enthusiast - this class is for anybody who meets the pre-reqs and can be completed at the individual's own pace. Come with an open mind and full mags, because it's action packed and a real blast.
You may shoot reloaded ammo (at your own risk) or steel case. You MAY NOT shoot any steel penetrating core, i.e. NATO green tip.
Due to the unique nature of this experience, as well as the more complicated logistics involved, all sales are final.
