WPS Cross Cutout Contender Supreme Appendix EDC Belt: Best Belt for Appendix Carry
The Contender Appendix Belt by Nexbelt couples a rugged ratcheting buckle design with a flexible but durable strap to make one of the most reliable EDC belts on the market.
Nexbelt didn’t cut any corners with this design. The ratcheting buckle makes it easy to quickly and discreetly make adjustments while transitioning between seated and standing positions. While pin buckles offer only 1” adjustment increments, Nexbelt’s PreciseFit allows for ¼” adjustments. That means whether you’re adjusting for a holster or the 3-course meal you just finished, the ratcheting system makes it fast and simple to find your comfort level.
The buckle also has Allen head stainless steel screws replacing the pins for a stronger buckle design. Pair that with a high-density microfiber nylon strap, and you’ll have no issue carrying IWB or OWB. Nexbelt engineered this belt specifically for carrying a firearm. By making the smallest buckle out there, it frees up precious space in front for your blaster and extra magazines. Its diminutive buckle is sized 1 1/2 x 1 11/16″ and can be worn front center, left/right hip, or hidden near the curve of the back.
There’s also no need to worry about ordering the right size when checking out. The Supreme Appendix also comes in other colors and uses Nexbelt’s patented sizing system, meaning each belt can be cut to fit any size up to a 50″ waist. You won’t have to stare at a sizing chart or concern yourself with returning the wrong size order. This is a product that Warrior Poet Society is proud to have our name on.

Supreme Appendix Gun Belt FAQ's
- How long until my belt ships out? 1-2 weeks.
- What is the difference between Supreme Appendix and Contender Nexbelts? The strap featured on the Contender Nexbelt is designed with Steadiflex™ technology, delivering the flexibility you want without giving up the support you need for holsters, mag pouches, or appendix carry. The belt straps found on our other Nexbelts are more rigid and inflexible comparatively.
- What's the difference between an appendix gun belt and a regular belt? This appendix gun belt features a slimmer profile buckle that can be easily moved out of the way of your appendix-concealed weapon system for a more comfortable carry with less interference. Additionally, the appendix gun belt features a more rigid nylon strap that will support a concealed weapon without deforming and losing its structure, allowing you to keep your CCW exactly where it's supposed to be.
- What are the Contender Carry Gun Belt's special features? Beyond the slim profile buckle that allows for improved concealment and the more flexible strap, the Nexbelt Contender Gun Belt features a patented ratchet technology that allows the belt size to be quickly and easily adjusted on the fly, whether you need it tighter or looser.
- What are the benefits of nylon belts for appendix carry? Nylon belts offer an appropriate level of structure and rigidity that is required for safely concealing a firearm while also keeping it in place with proper retention. Nylon is rugged and will stand up to abuse, while also offering a level of comfort and flexibility where you need it.
- Are there any disadvantages to nylon for an appendix carry gun belt? Some critics of nylon being used as a gun belt claim that the appearance of a nylon belt will stand out from a regular belt in ordinary scenarios (rather than at the range), and could therefore give away a tactical edge. However, the nylon used in the Supreme Appendix gun belt is designed to appear traditionally and inconspicuously, allowing you to retain your "grey man" status.

Sizing Instructions:
- Turn the belt to the backside and use our scaling system to find your pant size. (US PAT. Number 10,966,489 B2)
- Add 2” to your pant size, and using scissors, cut along the dotted line.
Note: We recommend that you add 3 - 4 inches to your pant size before cutting. You can always trim farther down if needed
Finding Your Fit
Traditional belts rely on holes spaced 1 inch apart, limiting size adjustments. In contrast, a ratchet belt secures by locking into the teeth of the belt, offering finer adjustments and accommodating "in-between" sizes. For a Nexbelt Ratchet belt, the process involves:

Find your pant size
- Add a couple of inches and then cut.
- Insert the strap into the buckle clasp.
Why It Matters For Finding the Perfect Belt
Over the years, established norms dictate how belts should be worn based on gender and dominant hand. Understanding the appropriate way to wear a belt can guide you in selecting the ideal belt and buckle for your specific needs.
Ratchet Belts
A Ratchet Belt is a belt that does not have any belt holes and uses a ratchet system, where the belt will lock into place by using the inside of the buckle. These belts often stay in place by using a latch inside the buckle that will lock onto the teeth of a belt. It also allows you to change your belt's size to a more accurate size than a traditional belt through belt holes.
