WPS Supreme Appendix EDC Belt: Best Belt for Appendix Carry

The Supreme Appendix Belt by Nexbelt couples a rugged ratcheting buckle design with a heavy-duty strap to make one of the most reliable EDC belts on the market.

Nexbelt didn’t cut any corners with this design. The ratcheting buckle makes it easy to quickly and discretely make adjustments while transitioning between seated and standing positions. While pin buckles offer only 1” adjustment increments, Nexbelt’s PreciseFit allows for ¼” adjustments. That means whether you’re adjusting for a holster or the 3-course meal you just finished, the ratcheting system makes it fast and simple to find your comfort level.

The buckle also has Allen head stainless steel screws replacing the pins for a stronger buckle design. Pair that with a high-density microfiber nylon strap and you’ll have no issue carrying IWB or OWB. Nexbelt engineered this belt specifically for carrying a firearm. By making the smallest buckle out there, it frees up precious space in front for your blaster and extra magazines. Its diminutive buckle is sized 1 1/2 x 1 11/16″ and can be worn front center, left/right hip, or hidden near the curve of the back.

There’s also no need to worry about ordering the right size when checking out. The Supreme Appendix also comes in other colors and uses Nexbelt’s patented sizing system, meaning each belt can be cut to fit any size up to a 50″ waist. You won’t have to stare at a sizing chart or concern yourself with returning the wrong size order. This is a product that Warrior Poet Society is proud to have our name on.

Supreme Appendix Gun Belt FAQ's

  1. How long until my belt ships out? 1-2 weeks.
  2. What is the difference between Titan and Supreme Appendix Nexbelts? The buckle and design of the strap are different.
  3. What's the difference between an appendix gun belt and a regular belt? This appendix gun belt features a slimmer profile buckle that can be easily moved out of the way of your appendix-concealed weapon system for a more comfortable carry with less interference. Additonally, the appendix gun belt features a more rigid nylon strap that will support a concealed weapon without deforming and losing it's structure, allowing you to keep your CCW exactly where it's supposed to be.
  4. What are the Supreme Appendix Carry Gun Belt special features? Beyond the slim profile buckle that allows for improved concealment, the Nexbelt Supreme Appendix Carry Gun Belt features a patented ratchet technology that allows the belt size to be quickly and easily adjusted on the fly, whether you need it tighter or looser.
  5. What are the benefits of nylon belts for appendix carry? Nylon belts offer an appopriate level of structure and rigidity that is required for safely concealing a firearm while also keeping it in place with proper retention. Nylon is rugged and will stand up to abuse, while also offering a level of comfort and flexibility where you need it.
  6. Are there any disadvantages to nylon for an appendix carry gun belt? Some critics of nylon being used as a gun belt claim that the appearance of a nylon belt will stand out from a regular belt in ordrinary scenarios (rather than at the range), and could therefore give away a tactical edge. However, the nylon used in the Supreme Appendix gun belt is designed to appear traditionally and insconspicuously, allowing you to retain your "grey man" status.

Sizing Instructions:

  • Turn the belt to the backside and use our scaling system to find your pant size. (US PAT. Number 10,966,489 B2)
  • Add 2” to your pant size, and using scissors, cut along the dotted line.

Note: We recommend that you add 3 - 4 inches to your pant size before cutting. You can always trim farther down if needed

Finding Your Fit

Traditional belts rely on holes spaced 1 inch apart, limiting size adjustments. In contrast, a ratchet belt secures by locking into the teeth of the belt, offering finer adjustments and accommodating "in-between" sizes. For a Nexbelt Ratchet belt, the process involves:

Find your pant size
- Add a couple of inches and then cut.
- Insert the strap into the buckle clasp.

Why It Matters For Finding the Perfect Belt

Over the years, established norms dictate how belts should be worn based on gender and dominant hand. Understanding the appropriate way to wear a belt can guide you in selecting the ideal belt and buckle for your specific needs.

Ratchet Belts

A Ratchet Belt is a balet that does not have any belt holes and uses a ratchet system, where the belt will lock into place by using the inside of the buckle. These belts often stay in place by using a latch inside the buckle that will lock onto the teeth of a belt. It also allows you to change your belt's size to a more accurate size than a traditional belt through belt holes.

This belt is great in theory, but it has two flaws. For one, the stitching near the teeth that engage with the buckle comes loose quickly. Additionally, stress in the plastic skeleton concentrates at the small of the back when seated, and within a year of daily use, the plastic completely split in that area and I had to have nexbelt send me a replacement (which they did free of charge.) The stability and rigidity is great, and the buckle works wonderfully, but these two issues need fixing.

    Fantastic Buy

Posted by Garon M on Jan 28th 2024

I bought this belt about a year ago and I love it. I use a holster with an attached spare mag carrier, which is a bit too wide to slide the buckle to the side, but I just loop the belt through one loop over so it doesn't interfere. My only complaint is that the rigid core has broken in two places in the last couple of months, but I'll get a new strap from nexbelt soon. Overall, it's fantastic, sleek, keeps my edc held close and comfortable, and the belt doesn't sag from the weight of the holster. The WPS logo just makes me feel a little cooler too.

    The most adjustability ever

Posted by Pat on Oct 12th 2023

I love this belt, just got a couple of weeks ago and can’t believe I waited so long to buy it. The adjustability is crazy, makes wearing while driving so much more comfortable, or just sitting down in general.

Been running mine for 3 years now and still going strong, concealing appendix every day. Perfect balance between comfort and rigidity. The ratcheting system is convenient yet extremely effective. No need to hesitate on this one. You won't regret it.

I love this belt! It's so easy to adjust it when sitting and standing. I'll try and revisit in about 6 months to review durability. I'm sure I won't regret this purchase!

Posted by Adam on May 21st 2023

I bought one of these two years ago and I run my EDC on it every single day. It’s an excellent belt and has held up very well with everything I do. I’m ordering a replacement today.

    Buy it!!

I love this belt. East to adjust, comfortable, but rigid to keep my holster supported and in place. I won't buy another carry belt unless it's this one.
